Parks Drug was established in Seminole, Oklahoma in 1926 by James Henry Parks.  His two sons, Phillip and Henry, followed in his footsteps and took over the family business after their father's death in 1940.  Henry established Parks Drug in Ardmore, Oklahoma, in the 1950s and Phillip continued the business in Seminole.

Phillip graduated with a degree in Pharmacy from Southwestern State College of Pharmacy in Weatherford, Oklahoma in 1962.  Phillip's daughter, Ann, kept up the family tradition and graduated with honors at the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 1977.  Now she and her father both operate Parks Drug and Gifts.

Parks Drug and Gifts not only is a full service computerized pharmacy, but also a gift shop located in the heart of downtown Seminole.  We accept most insurance cards and both a licensed pharmacist and licensed pharmacy technician are always available for any questions you may have.  We also offer free local delivery on prescriptions.  Other services we offer include passport photos, gun permit pictures, and fax transmission service.  In case you get thirsty the original old fashioned soda fountain is still here for serving up ice-cold soft drinks, coffee, and snacks.  Once a month we are also a satellite location for the Economy Hearing Aid Company.
